Optical Windows and Domes

CeraNova offers optically transparent ceramics that are essential for an increasing number of military, industrial, and commercial products such as laser-guided missiles, transparent armor, laser measurement and monitoring systems, high-temperature furnace windows, retail store UPC scanning windows, and high intensity lighting. In many cases, only transparent ceramic materials - not glass - are able to withstand the high temperatures, corrosive environments, and other extreme physical conditions that are present in such applications. Most development has been on transparent polycrystalline aluminum oxide and transparent polycrystalline yttria.

Ceramic Monofilament Fibers

CeraNova's current product line includes a range of unique micro-diameter monofilament fibers of piezoelectric, superconducting and transparent ceramics. In addition to military and defense applications, CeraNova continues to explore non-military uses and applications for its transparent ceramic fibers and ribbons, in particular industrial non-destructive inspection, lasers, and adaptive optics.
