CeraNova is developing PZT preforms that will significantly reduce the lay-up and assembly time associated with Active Fiber Composite fabrication. The assembly of Preforms involves batch processing of wound green fiber to produce a sintered product from which a monolayer fiber "prepreg" can be extracted.
